Welcome to Cerebra ("we," "our," or "us"), a service provided by Hangzhou Jingxun Technology Co., Ltd. (Registered Address: Room 309, Building 2, No.199 Yueming Road, Xixing Street, Binjiang District, Hangzhou, China).
By accessing or using our mobile application ("App"), website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility

3. The "Energy" System & Virtual Goods
Cerebra operates on a unique "Energy" system designed to manage cognitive bandwidth.
- License, Not Property: "Energy" points, badges, achievements, and other virtual items within the App are licensed to you on a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable basis. They are not your personal property.
- No Monetary Value: Virtual goods have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, merchandise, or services outside of the App.
- Expiration & Forfeiture: "Energy" balances are tied strictly to your account status. Upon deletion of your account (whether voluntary or involuntary), all accumulated Energy and progress are permanently forfeited and cannot be restored.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Billing: Cerebra offers subscription plans (e.g., Annual, Monthly) granting access to premium features. All billing and transaction processes are handled exclusively by the platform from which you downloaded the App (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
- Pricing: Prices for subscriptions (e.g., $29.99/year) are displayed in the App and are subject to change.
- Free Trial: If you sign up for a free trial (e.g., 7 days), you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends via your App Store/Google Play account settings.
- Refunds: We do not process refunds directly. All refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google and are subject to their respective refund policies. We adhere to the decisions made by these platforms regarding refund eligibility.
5. AI-Generated Content & Disclaimers
Cerebra utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (powered by Google Gemini) to deconstruct and restructure information.
- No Warranty of Accuracy: While we strive for "Rational Aesthetics" and logical precision, AI models can produce "hallucinations," errors, or inaccuracies. All content is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Not Professional Advice: The content provided by Cerebra—including but not limited to summaries of medical, financial, or legal concepts—is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice. You should always consult with a qualified professional before making decisions based on the content found in the App.
- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hangzhou Jingxun Technology Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the AI-generated content.
6. Intellectual Property & Fair Use
- Cerebra's Rights: The App's source code, design (including the "Obsidian" aesthetic), structure, logos, and trademarks are the exclusive property of Hangzhou Jingxun Technology Co., Ltd.
- Content Nature: Cerebra provides transformative summaries and structural deconstructions of non-fiction concepts. We do not reproduce original books in their entirety. Our content is intended as "Fair Use" commentary and educational transformation under applicable copyright laws.
- Third-Party IP: All original book titles, author names, and cover art referenced in the App are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and reference purposes.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service.
- Attempt to bypass the "Energy" system or any other technical measures of the App.
8. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time via the in-app settings.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
- Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the validity, invalidity, breach, or termination thereof, shall be submitted to the Hangzhou Arbitration Commission for arbitration in accordance with its rules in effect at the time of applying for arbitration. The seat of arbitration shall be Hangzhou, China. The arbitral award is final and binding upon both parties.
