  • Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the hardware model, operating system and version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Zero Third-Party Tracking: We do not use third-party behavioral tracking tools (such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Facebook Pixel) to monitor your activity.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To operate and maintain the "Energy" system and your user profile.
  • To generate personalized content streams and recommendations.
  • To facilitate payment processing via Apple App Store and Google Play Store intermediaries.
  • To improve the technical stability and UI rendering of the App.

4. AI Processing and Data Storage

  • AI Vendor: We utilize Google Gemini as our third-party Artificial Intelligence provider to generate and structure learning content. While your specific learning queries are processed by Gemini's API, we do not use your personal private data to train public AI models.
  • Data Storage: Your user data is securely stored on Google Cloud Platform servers located in the United States.
  • International Data Transfer: Our operating entity is located in China. You acknowledge and agree that your data, while stored in the US, may be accessed by our engineering and support teams in China for maintenance and support purposes. We implement strict access controls to ensure the security of your data during such access.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We only share data in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers (specifically Google Cloud and Google Gemini) strictly for the purpose of hosting our servers and processing AI requests.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or legal process served on us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including users in California under CCPA/CPRA and users in the EEA/UK under GDPR), you may have the following rights:

  • Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. You can exercise this right instantly via the "Delete Account" button in the App settings.
  • Correction: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data.

Cerebra is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
